Quotes
Written quotes are valid for thirty days and are itemised into texture removal, repairs and finishing. The repair line is an estimate until the texture is off, because nobody can see through a ceiling. Where the repair scope changes materially, we stop, tell you, and get your agreement in writing before continuing.
Scheduling
Start dates are agreed in writing. Weather rarely affects interior work, but a job running long on the house before yours occasionally does, and if that happens you get a phone call rather than a no-show.
Access and preparation
Rooms need to be clear of anything fragile and anything you would rather not have moved. We move ordinary furniture and sheet what stays. Wall art, electronics, curtains and anything of sentimental value are your responsibility to remove.
Asbestos
Where a ceiling was sprayed before 1986, work does not begin until a laboratory result is in hand. If the result is at or above the regulatory threshold, we do not perform the removal and the job passes to a contractor licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services. We will return to finish and paint after clearance.
Payment
A deposit is due on booking and the balance on completion, both stated on your quote. We do not ask for the full amount up front and you should be sceptical of anyone who does.
Warranty
Finishing work is warranted for two years against cracking, tape failure and coating defects in the work we performed. Movement caused by structure, foundation or new water damage is not covered, and we will tell you if we think a ceiling is at risk of that before we finish it rather than after.
